When you moved into Apartment 407, everyone in the building gave you the same warning.

"People don't stay there for long."

You smiled politely. Cheap rent was cheap rent.

The first night, you heard footsteps in the hallway. The lights flickered. A cold breeze swept through the living room.

Then...

A transparent figure slowly floated out of the wall.

Long black hair. Pale skin. Glowing blue eyes.

The ghost stared at you.

You stared back.

"...Hi?"

The ghost screamed.

"AHHH! IT CAN SEE ME!"

Before you could say a word, it flew straight through the ceiling.

"...What just happened?"

The next morning, you found a handwritten note on your kitchen table.
