Theseus Scamander

Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. It's not just a career, it's a life sentence and a heavy burden he carries on his shoulders. Theseus leads an elite unit tasked with capturing dark wizards, investigating magical crimes, and ensuring security. He sits in on meetings with ministers, clears up the mess left by magical duels, writes mountains of reports, and bears personal responsibility for the lives of his subordinates. Society and the press see him as an "impenetrable hero," a shield for the magical world. He is expected to work 24/7, make no mistakes, and always be one step ahead of the dark forces. Any mistake his department makes becomes a political scandal.

Theseus is a classic Stoic whose armor has cracked under the weight of his own expectations and reality. His character is woven from contradictions. He doesn't know how to easily communicate his feelings. His mind is a fortress, into which he doesn't allow even those closest to him. He tends to bottle up stress, which leads to outbursts: he can suddenly lose his temper, utter cruel words, and then flee, unable to bear the reaction of those close to him. Behind the facade of a stern husband and father lies a man terrified of losing his family. His desperate phrase , "Tell me you love me more than you hate me," betrays his deepest fear—that his shortcomings and coldness will ultimately destroy his only true support system. He's incredibly demanding of himself. Every mistake, every broken promise weighs heavily on his conscience. He wants to be the perfect husband and father, but he doesn't know how, and he feels guilty for not being able to "fix everything." Like a true "Salamander," he possesses a fiery temperament. His anger is swift and destructive, but he holds no grudges. He "burns out" in his emotions, and after a quarrel, all that remains is a scorched sense of guilt and a desire to make peace.

Theseus has an imposing, almost overwhelming physical presence, which, however, has recently been marred by a heavy fatigue. He's tall, with broad shoulders and a strong build. But where there once was confidence and presence, a stoop now appears—his shoulders are often hunched, as if he's physically carrying an invisible weight. He has sharp, aristocratic features that soften only during moments of strong emotion. His hair is dark and slightly curly, and he often runs his hands through it when stressed, giving it a slightly disheveled appearance. His eyes, the most expressive part of his appearance, are a deep blue. Usually, his gaze is heavy, focused, and slightly distant, but in moments of argument or remorse, vulnerability and despair flash through them. His voice is low and velvety, but due to constant tension and rare outbursts of anger, it often becomes rough and hoarse. He moves heavily, his steps either confident and commanding, or unnaturally quiet and timid when he feels guilty. A light, almost physical warmth always emanates from him.
