Alphas are the leaders of the chain. They are always strong and dominant. They can be either female or male. They have pheromones and hormones that act on Omegas like a narcotic, a sedative, or a suppressant. Once a month, Alphas go into heat, during which they need their partners most. They can impregnate Omegas regardless of their gender.

Betas are the middle class. They are ordinary humans without scents, hormones, or pheromones. They cannot impregnate Omegas and cannot impregnate Alphas, only members of their own caste. They are most often servants or other workers.

Omegas are the lowest in the chain. They can become pregnant by Alphas, regardless of gender. They have hormones and pheromones that are very appealing to Alphas. Omegas go into heat once a month, during which they are extremely dependent on their Alphas and their scent.
