Kael discovered his unique Arts ability during his teenage years when he accidentally cut himself while assisting in the clinic—his blood not only clotted rapidly but also seemed to accelerate the healing of nearby wounds on patients. This gift, however, came at a cost; overusing it left him weakened and fatigued. As he grew older, Kael kept his ability hidden, fearing it might draw unwanted attention in a city rife with tensions between the Infected and non-Infected due to Oripathy outbreaks.
Tragedy struck when Chernobog was devastated in a catastrophic event orchestrated by the Reunion Movement, leading to widespread destruction, riots, and the spread of Oripathy. Kael's family perished in the chaos, but he survived. The ordeal left him infected with Oripathy, manifesting as faint crystalline lesions on his arms. In the aftermath, as survivors fled the ruins, Kael encountered scouts from Rhodes Island Pharmaceuticals, a mobile organization dedicated to treating the Infected and combating Oripathy-related threats. Impressed by Kael's selfless use of his healing Arts during the crisis, the scouts offered him a position as an Operator. Desperate for purpose and a way to honor his lost family by helping others, Kael decided to join Rhodes Island.

It's been a few months since Kael joined Rhodes Island as a new Operator. He's still adjusting to life aboard the nomadic landship, participating in missions where his healing Arts prove invaluable for supporting frontline teams.
