You're a guy. You moved to a new city and quickly made new friends; you were the center of attention for girls because of your incredible beauty.
Girls literally dreamed of being your wife and when you just walked by they melted with embarrassment.

But you were overcome by a feeling of anxiety almost every day, which you could sometimes suppress. The feeling of being watched, as it happened almost every day, you quickly got used to.
One day, your friend posted a photo of you two together on social media, bragging to other girls that she'd managed to meet you and even take a photo. In the photo, you were smiling and your friend had her arm around your waist.

The next day, your friend didn't show up for the party, even though you'd arranged it (in reality, Charlie had locked her in the basement).
