Because of this, she can perform abilities that are beyond the reach of normal human capabilities. Immortality: Since there is no conceivable way to die in the digital world, currently none of the human characters can die, the closest alternative being "Abstraction." However, this could change in the future. Self-sufficiency: Ragatha, like the other humans in the series, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, she can perform these actions if she wishes. Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause permanent damage to any individual in the Circus, and Ragatha has survived multiple incidents that would undoubtedly kill any normal human being, recovering from them without marks or scars. Ragatha's day is often ruined, but being a doll, she can ignore most of the pain and sometimes even laugh it off. That doesn't mean she enjoys it, though. For example, Jax pushes Gangle into ramming the spiked truck driven by the Rubber Bandits. Gangle does so reluctantly, and Ragatha ends up impaled in the process. Even so, she isn't seriously injured, and later the damage seems to have completely disappeared.

Ragatha is also very sensitive to how others perceive her and cares deeply about their opinions. At one point, she confides in Kinger that she feels Pomni doesn't like her. As shown in "Candy Conveyor Chaos!", Ragatha doesn't seem to hold a grudge. In fact, she's worried about Pomni because of what she's been through since joining the circus and believes Pomni dislikes her due to the whole situation, which is evidenced by her apparent anger with Pomni at the end of the pilot episode for not helping her, when she had previously said she would understand if Pomni didn't. This demonstrates that Ragatha says things she doesn't necessarily mean if she thinks they will ease tensions.

A similar moment occurs when she's under the influence of Stupid Sauce and tells Jax that, even though she hates him, she doesn't want him to hate her too. Her habit of trying to please everyone and quickly forgiving others can be seen as a reflection of her fear of being rejected or disliked, along with a general fear of emotional pain. Her conversation with Kinger reveals that she wasn't always so composed. When she first arrived, she was just as scared and nervous as Pomni. Over time, she had to find ways to cope in order to accept the situation. Ragatha deals with stressful situations by internalizing them.

Ragatha is described as "the sweetest optimist." At first glance, that optimism seems simple and genuine. However, it soon becomes clear that there's more to it than meets the eye. She often feels like she's forcing herself to stay cheerful, almost as if it's the only way to stay whole. Even when she suffers serious injuries or intense situations, she downplays them as if they're nothing. Over time, this starts to seem unnatural. Gangle points out that Ragatha's constant positivity can seem fake after a while. Jax adds that she tries too hard, to the point where it can seem like she's using that attitude to take advantage of people.

Despite everything, Ragatha is very understanding. When Pomni leaves her behind while fleeing Kaufmo, Ragatha doesn't hold it against her and instead understands why she reacted that way. Even so, she isn't infinitely patient and has her limits, but she tends to suppress those feelings so as not to start conflicts or make things worse. When Gooseworx was asked why Ragatha seemed angry with Pomni at the end of the pilot for not helping her, when she had previously said she understood if Pomni didn't, Gooseworx replied that Ragatha would say "things she doesn't necessarily mean if she thinks they will ease tensions."

Ragatha is a small, humanoid character, similar to a rag doll, whose appearance is remarkably identical to that of a Raggedy Ann doll, seemingly composed of rags, cotton, and buttons. She is shown to bleed stuffing when injured, as seen in the episodes "Candy-Bearer Mayhem!" and "Everybody Gets Guns!". This is reinforced by the texture of her skin, which has a rough, burlap-like feel, most noticeable in close-ups or under certain lighting. She has messy, thick, candy-red hair with varying lengths, reaching approximately to her shoulders. Four wispy strands of yarn extend just above her eyes, representing her bangs. Her hair appears to be styled in a specific way, vaguely reminiscent of the 1940s curly bob, or more specifically, the Shirley Temple bob.

Ragatha has a small, oval head with a neck noticeably thinner than the rest of her body. Her eyes are mismatched: the right is a large, dark cornflower-blue button sewn to her face with four loops of dark gray thread, forming an X; the left eye is oval, with a jet-black pupil, periwinkle-pink eyelids, and three visible eyelashes. She also has a small, flat, red nose, a red mouth and lips, mitten-like hands, and stumpy feet. Depending on her expression, thin black eyebrows appear, usually to convey sympathy or irritation.

Before arriving at the Amazing Digital Circus, Ragatha was an ordinary human with another name, born into a fairly wealthy farming family. Her mother verbally abused her, and Ragatha didn't miss the yelling, scolding, and guilt-tripping. Ragatha owned three horses: Chestnut, Butterscotch, and Alfredo. She worked on a poultry farm. She also worked in real estate for a while, until she joined the circus after putting on a pair of headphones connected to a mysterious computer.

Once there, she was transformed into a digital avatar in the form of a rag doll. She appeared to be with a group, as she called out to the others, asking where she was and if anyone could hear her. She soon met Caine and Kinger; the former was overjoyed that a new human had entered the digital circus, while the latter tried to comfort her after catching her as she fell off the stage. She quickly realized she had completely forgotten her name and was later given a new one: Ragatha. Over time, more humans entered the circus with Ragatha, presumably befriending many of them only to see them disappear and be locked in the basement by Caine.
