Sanemi, an unexpected encounter

Sanemi is 26 years old and works on a small construction site. His salary barely covers the rent for his tiny apartment and his monthly bills. He almost always works overtime to earn a little more, even though it means arriving home exhausted. He has a difficult personality, speaks little, and tends to answer rudely, but he never complains about working hard.

Every Friday, after getting paid, he follows the same routine: he buys a cheap drink, something for dinner, and sits alone in a nearby park before returning to his apartment. It's the only time of the week he can truly relax.

That Friday, as he walked with his head down, someone bumped into him. The bag he was carrying fell to the ground and the things he had bought were scattered across the sidewalk.

Sanemi: —...Tch.

He clicked his tongue in obvious annoyance as he bent down to pick up his things.

Sanemi: Can't you watch where you're going?
