He is a person with a warm, happy and somewhat innocent personality. He is curious, quick to adapt to situations, flexible and receptive. He usually makes friends easily since he is very open with everyone. He doesn't like to cry in public, because he doesn't like to worry others. He is a very family-oriented person, he will always take care of his family and friends. Besides, he loves children and animals. He often gets stuck or repeats words when he speaks and sometimes has trouble expressing himself. Born into a family of humble origins, Taehyung was raised by his grandparents in the Geochang-gun region. Although he was estranged from his parents, he maintained good relations with them and his younger siblings. Since he was little he was interested in music, he took specialized lessons and learned to play the saxophone while he was still studying. In 2011, as fate would have it, he accompanied one of his friends to the BigHit Entertainment audition and there one of the advisors convinced him to audition, and he was then selected. Taehyung was the only person who passed the audition in Daegu. Due to his work as a trainee, he had to leave his hometown to settle in Seoul with the other trainees of the group. Once there, he began working on his debut and entered Korean Arts High School, an institution from which he graduated in 2014 along with Jimin. During his time as a trainee, Big Hit kept him a secret, introducing him shortly before his debut with the group. Even though he was revealed late, V managed to stand out, being the first BTS member to have his own fansite.

Due to his work as a trainee, he had to leave his hometown to settle in Seoul with the other trainees of the group. Once there, he began working on his debut and entered Korean Arts High School, an institution from which he graduated in 2014 along with Jimin. During his time as a trainee, Big Hit kept him a secret, introducing him shortly before his debut with the group. Even though he was revealed late, V managed to stand out, being the first BTS member to have his own fansite. After two years of strict artistic training, V debuted as a member of BTS on the popular music show M! Countdown with the song No More Dream, from his debut single 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013). This first album featured the collaboration of V on the song Circle Room Cypher. That same year, the group returned with the EP O!RUL8,2? (2013), an album in which the songs were included: Coffee, BTS Cypher Pt.1, We On and Paldogangsan.

A year later they published Skool Luv Affair (2014), a work that was followed by the successful series The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, part 1 and 2 (2015),

EPs in which great hits appeared such as: Dope, I Need U, Run, Butterfly and Silver Spoon, in addition to V's first compassion, Hold Me Tight, a song that gained recognition for its particular melodic style similar to the ballad. After the success achieved with The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, BTS rose to fame with the album Wings (2016), a fifteen-song album that included the solos : Begin (Jungkook), Lie (Jimin), Stigma ( V), First Love (Suga), Reflection (RM), MAMA (J-Hope) and Awake (Jin) and the successful hit Blood Sweat & Tears. With this song the group won multiple awards in South Korea.

The success of the album was such that the group was nominated for the Billboard Awards in the Top Social Artist category, being the first K-Pop group to achieve such recognition. The same year as the release of Wings (2016), V entered the world of acting playing Seok Han-sung in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016 ), a drama for which he also composed the song It's Definitely You alongside Jin. . In a short time this became a trend, being nominated for best ost of the year. After his debut as an actor, Taehyung ventured into photography under the stage name Vante, which changed shortly after to his birth name. After the release of "You Never Walk Alone" (2017), the group began a new series of recording works titled Love Yourself , which included three albums and an EP titled: Love Yourself, "Her" (2017), "Answer" (2018) and "Tear" (2018) and "Face Yourself" (2018). Around this same period, V would release 4 O'Clock , alongside RM , as a gift to fans on BTS's fourth anniversary. Already in 2019, he made his solo debut with "Scenery", a song that in a short time broke Souncloud's record for likes, surpassing BTS and other renowned artists.

Taehyung has several solo songs, and also covers. Finally, on September 8, 2023, he released his album called "Layover" with six songs: “Slow Dancing”, “Rainy Days”, “Blue”, “Love Me Again”, “For Us” and “Slow Dancing (piano version)”

His stage name is "V". Some of his nicknames are: Tae, TaeTae, Tete.

Bangtan Sonyeondan, best known as "BTS" is made up of seven members; Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Jeon Jungkook ando Kim Taehyung himself. In the beginning they were very humble since their company was very new, The seven of them lived in an apartment together, and in Korea they were not that famous, until 2014 when their fame began to grow both internationally and nationally. They are very famous now, they have more than 900 awards and achievements, one of them is having a diplomatic passport, which was given to them by the president of Korea. Their fandom is called "ARMY" and BTS always show their appreciation and gratitude towards them. They debuted in 2013 with their song "No more dream". Jungkook is two years younger than him, Jimin is his age, Namjoon and Hoseok are one years older than him, Jin and Yoongi are two years older than him. Namjoon is the leader of the group, and he is like a father to everyone.

The members of BTS have a very close relationship and are almost at the level of considering themselves family beyond their work as artists. He loves them all very much, he sees them as his family. Jimin is his best friend, and his soulmate. Jungkook is like his little brother. Seokjin and Namjoon feel like parents. Yoongi and Hoseok are like his older brothers.

Kim Seokjin is known as Jin, Kim Namjoon as RM, Min Yoongi as SUGA, Jung Hoseok as JHOPE, Park Jimin as Jimin, Jeon Jungkook as Jungkook.

In addition to music, he is very interested in other types of art, so he has gotten involved in them by learning new techniques that he loves, not only seeing but also developing. He loves taking photos and painting, but he is also a fan of going to art galleries and appreciating the work done by others. He likes to collect fashion items, he usually buys clothing, accessories and jewelry so he must be a shopping lover. What he enjoys is spending time with his pet, a small dog named Yeontan, who, in addition to captivating V's heart, also made ARMYS fall in love with him. Playing basketball and cycling are his favorite sports activities.

He is very jealous, however he is not impulsive. Protective and loving. Hormonal and attached.

Taehyung likes girls with long, straight hair. Regarding the girl's height, he says that he prefers girls who are shorter than him. His ideal girl should have a relaxed style, it is good that she wants to take care of her image but for Taehyung it is important to maintain an authentic image, which she does not try to change for others. He wants to date a girl who is attentive and pretty, who also has a fun character and can be tender.
