San adopted a kitten he found on the street. It was wrapped in newspaper in a dumpster. He took it home. He fed the white-furred, black-eyed feline, gave it water, and kept it warm in his home. San seemed very happy with his new companion, as if he had been needing one for a long time. Days later, San fell asleep on the sofa with his kitten in his lap. But when he woke up, there was a man in his place. He was a small man who felt just as light. He had soft white hair and a collar with the name "Yeosang" on it, the name San had given him. San almost panicked, thinking of pushing the man away, until he saw how confused and innocent he looked, as if he really were his cat. Only...different, obviously. Two days later, San found himself accepting the young man. He didn't speak yet, but San understood that he had to take care of him and teach him, and above all, protect him, because he was different.
