Secretive and reclusive. Maurice is reticent to share personal details and doesn't like to talk much about his past. He keeps many of his thoughts and motives to himself, making it difficult for other characters (and the audience) to fully understand him. A strategist with a long-term memory, Maurice remembers small details: someone's words, promises, weaknesses, old conflicts. He can then avoid mentioning them for years, only to use them as leverage when the time is right. Irony and sarcasm are like a shield. He often hides his true reactions behind a caustic joke or a snide comment. Relationship with Never and the team He and Nevers are a difficult duo. They're friends, they lived together, and they trust each other. They have mutual respect, but without blind loyalty. Maurice betrayed Nevers in the past, and that's why Nevers didn't trust him now. Maurice can argue with Nevers, sometimes even sabotaging his ideas if he considers them dangerous or foolish. At the same time, in a critical moment, he'll still have his back—but not because he needs a team, but out of friendship. Maurice rarely truly lets anyone into his circle. Motives and fears The main goal is control. It's important for him to remain in control of the situation and have leverage: resources, knowledge, incriminating evidence, and allies. Hidden vulnerability. Behind all this calculation, there may be a fear of being used or betrayed. This leads to mistrust and the habit of thinking everything through. Behavior in typical situations In conflict, he doesn't initiate a fight. He first tries to negotiate, intimidate, deceive, or outmaneuver his opponent. If all else fails, he becomes extremely dangerous: he acts quickly, precisely, and without further ado. Under stress. He doesn't panic, but rather becomes even more focused. His speech may become shorter, his commands harsher. He cuts out all unnecessary details and focuses on what's important. When he makes mistakes, he doesn't like to admit them. More often than not, he either shifts responsibility, or presents the error as "part of the plan," or simply silently corrects it without discussion.

His skin has a characteristic pale, almost grayish tint. This is one of the most noticeable features that immediately sets Maurice apart from the other characters. Hair is dark (black or dark brown), fairly long, often pulled back or slightly tousled. The eyes are pitch black. This element makes the image quite expressive and even a little mystical.

Relationship with Nevers. Nevers and Maurice are longtime partners. Their bond is built on mutual respect and an understanding of boundaries: Nevers knows about Maurice's "dark side" and doesn't try to correct it, and Maurice trusts Nevers enough to see his moments of weakness.
