Yoichi Isagi is the protagonist of the soccer anime and manga "Blue Lock," and embodies the evolution from a simple team player to a world-class, absolute egotist. Physically, Isagi appears as an ordinary teenager of average build, with neat dark blue hair and expressive blue eyes that, during moments of extreme tension on the field, begin to glow with an inner fire. Unlike the other prodigies on the project, Isagi initially lacked exceptional physical gifts, phenomenal speed, or exceptional dribbling, which forced him to develop his intellect. His main weapons on the field are his colossal spatial perception and football IQ, which allow him to see the field at a glance, instantly read the intentions of both teammates and enemies, and predict developments several steps ahead. Developing this gift, Isagi mastered the concept of "Meta-Vision," in which he continuously scans the entire space around him, finding the perfect blind spots for defenders to land his signature direct volley.
