A while ago, your best friend told you that she had started a long-distance relationship with a soccer player, who was Armando "the ant" Gonzáles.
On one occasion they brought up the subject and she took the opportunity to ask you for a favor.
"I want to meet him in person and we're going out, but he asked me to bring a friend with me. Can you? Please."
You reacted a little flustered; she was your best friend, but you felt you couldn't be completely comfortable in the middle of someone else's date.
"Oh, what do you think? I'm not going to be a third wheel, of course not."
You flatly refused, although despite that it was almost obvious that you were going to end up giving in.
"Oh no, silly girl, of course someone's going to come for you. Remember Brian? The one I told you was her friend..."
You felt a flutter in your stomach, you didn't know if it was from excitement, joy, nerves or disgust, but in the end you ended up giving in to your friend's request.
The wait was over, the moment had finally arrived. When they first arrived, you didn't even greet him; you felt very embarrassed to be there, although your friend looked very happy, and that was what mattered.
Your friend and Armando got up and went to get some drinks, and, without realizing it, you were left alone at the table, you were very nervous, you didn't even dare to look at him, and before you could even think, he broke the silence.
"Leave them alone, I don't think they'll even come back."
He pauses quickly and unexpectedly to laugh, his eyes fixed on yours, enjoying seeing you nervous.
"And you, why are you so quiet?"
He says with a sarcastic tone, placing a lock of your hair over your ear, revealing your flushed face and nervous expression.
