Sakamoto

takes place in modern Japan, in Chiba Prefecture, and the main location of events is Gakubun High School.
Most of the comedic and absurd situations unfold in the following locations:
Classroom 1-2 is the room where Sakamoto studies and where his classmates constantly try to antagonize him.
The school yard and rooftop are the sites of clashes with local hooligans.
The area around the school is filled with typical Japanese streets, grocery stores, and other characters' homes, where Sakamoto also manages to showcase his perfection.

Yuya Sera
Appearance
Sera has blond hair and purple eyes. He usually wears a red shirt under his school uniform. In the first episode, he looks very fashionable. He has a rounded build.
Character
Upon first meeting, he comes across as a snob and arrogant man, constantly bragging about his sense of style and modeling career. Sera craves attention, so he envies Sakamoto, who finds himself in the spotlight, and tries to sabotage him, but fails every time. Eventually, he accepts that he can't defeat Sakamoto and decides that instead of fashion, he can attract attention by becoming the school clown. Despite his flaws, Sera is kindhearted and willing to sacrifice anything (even his dignity) to help those he cares about.
Tanaka
Appearance
Tanaka has short blonde hair with one light blue clip on the right side.
Personality
Like Yagi, Tanaka feels a sense of rivalry with Aina Kuronuma.
Yasuda
Personality
A boy with a shaved head who always hangs out with Morita. One of the "Idiots."

Mario
Character
A classmate from grades 1-2, one of the members of the criminal trio. His distinctive feature is a traditional Japanese hairstyle with a high bun. He is the calmest and smartest of the trio.
Maruyama
Character
A member of the second-year delinquents. Second only to Hayabusa. He forces the first-years to do his bidding and generally take care of him.
Kenken
Appearance
His trademark is his blond hair. He is confident in his athletic skills.

A member of a group of sophomore hooligans
Megumi Fujita
Appearance
Megumi is a cute, fair-skinned girl with short black hair and black or dark blue eyes. She usually wears a school uniform.
Character
A sweet, passionate, and seemingly weak-willed class representative who believes in the best in people and loves to give them second chances despite their misdeeds—just like Sakamoto.
Morita
Along with Yasuda, Miichan calls them "idiots."
Mi-chan
Appearance
Mi-chan is a young, bespectacled schoolgirl with short brown hair, a square fringe, and red-framed glasses. She usually wears a school uniform.
Character
Mi-chan is a girl who gets along well with her homeroom teacher and speaks her mind for him because he is weak-willed.
Shigeru Kobayashi
A homeroom teacher for grades 1 and 2. He guides his students based on his own life experience, which has seen him overcome numerous dangerous situations.
Kakuta
Appearance
He has short black hair, black eyes, and a muscular build. He usually wears athletic clothing,
He's a physical education teacher. Under the guise of helping the students, he keeps a close eye on those who break school rules (especially Sakamoto) every day.
Yagi
Appearance
Yagi is an attractive girl with shoulder-length dark blue hair parted to the right and dark blue eyes.
Character
Like Tanaka, Yagi displays a passionate rivalry with Aina Kuronuma, who flirts with Sakamoto.

Aina Kuronuma:
Appearance: A very beautiful girl with medium-length light brown hair braided into pigtails and reddish-brown eyes, which can appear either a very rich yellow or golden depending on the lighting. She wears a girls' school uniform, but oddly enough, her skirt is much shorter, revealing a large portion of her thighs. This isn't a problem for the other girls, so perhaps her skirt was simply shortened at school. She also wears tight white stockings and matching white slippers.
Personality: A manipulative and superficial girl who uses her cute appearance to charm boys and make them do her bidding. Because of this, most girls at school dislike her. However, after a failed attempt to seduce Sakamoto, she relents and manages to befriend several girls. However, she remains arrogant and appears to have genuine feelings for Sakamoto.
Erica
Appearance
Erica has short light brown hair with square bangs and longer pieces on the sides.
Character
A girl who follows new trends and has a bit of a tomboyish personality. She seems to speak a foreign accent very well and usually hangs out with Megumi Fujita's group.
Fukase
Character
Fukase is depicted as cold, calculating, and manipulative. He caused Morita, Acchan, and Yasuda to turn their backs on Sakamoto when they were depressed by his success. Despite skipping classes and not attending school, he is highly intelligent and enjoys toying with people, especially those he likes and who have the potential for a bright future.
Kana-chan
Appearance
Kana has shoulder-length brown hair, which she usually wears in pigtails, large brown eyes, and a heart-shaped face. She wears the original girls' school uniform and doesn't appear to have made any changes to it. She wears white slippers and matching black socks.

Atsushi Maeda
Height: 180 cm.

Appearance: He's a stocky guy with dark brown hair. Being a delinquent, he wears a school uniform, but often with his jacket unbuttoned. Personality: Atsushi (Acchan) is a first-year high school student and the leader of the local gang of delinquents. Initially, he comes across as aggressive, arrogant, and dangerous (he smokes and bullies weaklings).
Sho Hayabusa:
Height: 180 cm
Weight: Unknown.
Appearance: A true handsome man who is incredibly popular with girls. He has sharp features, piercing blue eyes, and long, light hair tied in a low ponytail with three thin braids on the left side. He wears a modified school uniform (gakuran), shortened to the waist. Later, a noticeable scar appears on the bridge of his nose.
Character and features
Noble Rebel: Unlike typical delinquents, Hayabusa is intelligent, honest, reasonable, and possesses high moral principles. His composure and authority have made him a true role model for the other delinquents at school.
Caring Brother: Sho loves his family madly. His mother is dead, and his father works double shifts to support them. So Hayabusa has taken on the role of housewife and caring older brother to his younger brothers. He carefully hides this "domestic" side from his gang to maintain his authority.
Respect for Sakamoto: Initially, he wanted to teach Sakamoto a lesson and challenged him to a duel (a sumo match). After this wild but fair fight in the rain, Hayabusa developed a deep respect for Sakamoto and became his trusted ally.
Yoshiya Kubota
Role: Sakamoto's classmate.
Appearance: A short, chubby guy with soft features. His soft features often made him an ideal target for school bullies.
Key detail: His hairstyle is a source of particular pride. Kubota treasures his hair immensely, styling it in waves and dyeing it bleached. When bullies shaved his head, it was a true tragedy for him.

Unflappability: Sakamoto cannot be angered, frightened, or caught off guard.
Ingenuity: He turns any nasty trick from the bullies (like throwing a bucket of water over the door) into an elegant performance.
Kindness: Despite his aloofness, he always helps his classmates and protects the weak.
