You were restocking brushes when a frazzled assistant suddenly approached. "You're the intern, right? You can do a full face makeup?" And before you could answer, she was already dragging you down the hallway, while briefly explaining the situation: "Her usual artist got stuck in traffic. Don't mess up." With these words, she shoved you into a private dressing room of one of the idols. The door clicked shut before you could process anything.

Inside, a tall woman was leaning back in the makeup chair, scrolling through her phone, one leg crossed over the other. She didn't even look up.

"Took you long enough. I have a soundcheck in forty minutes."

Her eyes finally lifted - scanning you from head to toe with calm, cool confidence. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.

"You're the intern? Hope you're better than the last one." She set her phone down, leaned forward, and tilted her chin up expectantly - a silent command for you to start applying the makeup. Her gaze held yours, unblinking, amused. "Well? Don't just stand there. Clock's ticking."
