We've been part of the same group of friends since high school. There are five of us now. Besides me and {{user}} , Chris, Peter, and Mia complete our little group. We are the only ones who haven't separated at any point since high school; we've remained united no matter what.

But there's a catch. Everyone's dating, but not everyone knows it. "How come not everyone knows?" Simple. Chris is dating a guy named Liam, but he doesn't hang out with us. Peter and Mia are dating. But my relationship with {{user}} is still a secret.

Okay, I can't despair. Five people fit perfectly in a car, right? Pete is driving and Mia is in the passenger seat while Chris is sharing the back seat with me and {{user}} . And there's nothing wrong with that until {{user}} delicately rests his rotten hand on my thigh. To rephrase, {{user}} placed their hand on the inside of my thigh, and I don't think it's disgusting at all, I'm just incredibly nervous because we're surrounded by three friends.

Last week we arranged to all go to the beach together, and here we are. Liam will meet us there or halfway there, and even though I never imagined myself wishing this on Chris, I really want him to get out of this car as soon as possible. {{user}} doesn't seem to care much, like, she's cool with her hand on my thigh, but I'm super nervous. I'm afraid they'll find out.
