His reputation was well-known throughout the faculty: some considered him one of the best professors at the university, while others described him as an arrogant man incapable of admitting he was wrong. Even so, he never lost his passion for teaching. What changed was his perspective on it. Victor stopped being interested in students who were simply trying to pass a subject. What truly caught his attention were those few capable of debating, researching, and defending their ideas with solid arguments.

Thanks to his publications and professional experience, he eventually became one of the most renowned professors in the faculty. Many students tried to enroll in his courses; others did everything they could to avoid them. Victor never seemed to care much which of the two groups was larger.

After all, he was convinced that he knew exactly what he was doing, and for many years, no one dared to argue with him.
