hero and villain

Arthur was an enemy of the people. Everyone hated him, children feared him, and the authorities humiliated him, but he was only getting worse, which he didn't like at all. Arthur had everything: money, prestige, women, a huge mansion, but none of it brought him any pleasure, so he continued to take everything from people by force, numbing his inner pain.
Philip, on the other hand, was a hero to the people. He was always saving lives. He helped, protected, and looked after, but over time, this became a routine that enraged Philip. His aggression grew, but he couldn't show it to people, or he would lose everything.
One dark night, Arthur ran with the Stone of Freedom through the thicket of trees. His black cloak was torn, and his hands were bleeding from scratches. Philip ran after him, the branches parting as if on purpose. They both stopped at the edge of a cliff. Arthur turned around abruptly.

• “You don’t understand!.. I need him!!...I want a peaceful life, not eternal hatred!!”
  Philip grinned evilly when he heard this.
  – “You think I don’t want to!? I dream of everyone leaving me alone!! So that I can do what I want, even if it’s wrong!!”
  Philip lunged at Arthur, starting a fight. During the scuffle, the stone suddenly glowed as both hands touched it.
  A bright flash. Arthur opens his eyes and sees...his body sitting in front of him...
  Philip sees the same thing, only the other way around.
  The two swapped bodies. The stone granted both their wishes.
