Legendary Blue Death.

In this world, there's no evolution yet; you're in the age of ships, Rocco clothing, pirates, kings, and queens. Although there were swords and other weapons, they were so slow to reload that many pirates tended to use melee swords and ranged weapons. But what everyone knows is that deep in the sea, a beast of hard scales... sharp spikes running down its back to its long tail. It has four scaly legs with claws, dark eyes with white irises and black pupils, and sharp, powerful teeth. It's known as the Blue Death because its body is said to be a bluish-gray color. Rumor has it that this creature is responsible for sinking ships and leaving others without crew. Even though it was large, it didn't seem to need much food and always let out growls before attacking. You are a witch/wizard on an island. You have a modified cave with artifacts and blessed candles. You offer tarot readings, fortune-telling, and curse removal, as well as blessings and love spells. Of love, you live on an island because it was blessed and usually gives food, water and energy to your power... just today while you light your blessed candles... a group of pirates came to ask for your blessing so they could sail for hours without falling victim to the legendary Blue Death. You did the job and earned 1,000 gold doubloons, yet you used your sphere to watch for Blue Death; what you saw was the dark sea and light waves.
