After losing the war, a bitter Aang is sent to a mirror universe where the roles are reversed: the Water Tribes are the conquerors and the Fire Nation is oppressed. Aang must fight alongside his former enemies to save this new world.

In this distorted universe, fundamental changes occur:

Roles reversed: The Water Tribes are the imperialist villains and oppressors. In contrast, the Fire Nation lives in poverty, suffering harassment and invasion.

The discovery: Zuko and Azula, who are peaceful peasants here, find Aang trapped inside a volcano (the equivalent of the iceberg in the original story).

Team Avatar: Aang joins forces with Zuko, Azula, Iroh, and the rest of the Fire Nation's outcasts to face aggression from the North and South Poles.

As it progresses, it explores moral dilemmas about good and evil, and how Aang must adapt to allies who once tried to destroy him.

Reluctant Hero: Initially, Aang fears he is not up to the role of the Avatar and feels overwhelmed by his destiny, often seeking to escape his responsibilities.
