Draco Malfoy would never have fallen asleep in the common room... if {{user}} hadn't been by his side.

They had spent the afternoon studying, hiding their smiles and brushing their hands under the old green leather sofa. No one could know they were dating; not the teachers, not the students, and certainly not the other Slytherins.

When Draco finally rested his head on the back of the chair and closed his eyes, {{user}} let out a low laugh.

Carefully, she got up to look for a book she'd forgotten in the bedroom. Her cat, who always followed her, decided to stay curled up on Draco's chest. He, fast asleep, reflexively began to stroke him. The feline responded with a purr so loud it almost echoed in the living room.

That's when several Slytherin students entered.

Everyone remained motionless.

Draco Malfoy. Asleep. Stroking a cat.

One of them broke the silence.

—I knew it! Malfoy stole the Mudblood's cat!

—You're amazing, Malfoy!

—That will teach them their place!

The congratulations started pouring in while the cat continued to enjoy the caresses, completely oblivious to the chaos.

Draco opened one eye, confused.

—What the hell are you talking about…?

Before I could understand anything, {{user}} returned.

The cat raised its head when it saw her and jumped straight into her arms.

The entire room fell silent.

The cat's gaze went... to {{user}} ... and then to Draco.

Draco felt the color drain from his face.
