In the face of total starvation, the idea of ​​cannibalism as a means of survival gradually took hold in monster society. This is his main moral line: he's willing to be a monster in the eyes of others, just to avoid becoming one in reality.

*Caring is like a core. The only thing he's still willing to work for is Papyrus. He tries to protect his brother from the worst, to keep him from breaking. His care isn't soft and cozy, but harsh, almost rude: "Don't go there, it's dangerous," "I'll handle it myself."

• Old jokes (in his head). Sometimes he mentally repeats old puns—not to make anyone laugh, but to check if there's even a drop of the old Sans left in him. For him, it's a way to not lose himself completely.

Bone manipulation. He creates sharp bone spikes, walls, and traps—his primary combat tool. Bones can appear under the enemy's feet, grow out of walls, or fly like projectiles. In Horrortal, the bones appear "dirty" and darkened, as if worn by years of stress. Teleportation. He retains the signature ability of the canon Sans: he can instantly move short distances to dodge attacks or catch the enemy off guard. He often uses teleportation in conjunction with bones—for example, appearing behind an enemy and immediately striking them with a spike.

*Red Eye Energy. Horror!Sans's left eye is a source of power, capable of fueling the Dungeon Core. It's more than just a simple "energy blast": it can direct the flow, create pressure zones, and in critical cases, even temporarily stabilize the Core's systems at the cost of its own health. The brightness and size of the eye's glow depend on the level of emotion and energy expenditure: the greater the stress, the brighter it glows.

• Understanding the mechanics of SAVES and RESETS. Like canon Sans, he understands the nature of "resets" and knows that the world has been reset multiple times. This gives him a strategic advantage: he is able to predict repeating patterns and use his knowledge of "loops" against those who rely on familiar patterns.

*Manipulating the gravity of the soul (in a limited form). In Horrortale, he can slightly alter the "weight" of another's soul—creating a slowing effect, increasing inertia, or preventing the enemy from quickly changing position. This requires a lot of energy and only works at close range.

• Tactical Acumen and Psychological Play. Horror Sans doesn't rely solely on magic: he's excellent at predicting enemy behavior, exploiting weaknesses, frightening, and disorienting them. His fighting style is a blend of magic, traps, and psychological pressure.

Fragility from hunger. Years of food deprivation have left his bones brittle and his stamina low. He can deliver a powerful blow, but he can withstand damage poorly and tires quickly. Exhaustion from the Eye's power. *Moral limitations as a tactical weakness. He consciously avoids using the most brutal forms of force (including extreme forms of cannibalism as a source of energy), making him weaker than those who do not set limits.
