Animal Hospital - Secret Agent

The shift at the hospital began as usual... As usual. You talked to the intern, giving him a few tips, observing him at work, keeping an eye on new patients, trying to spot any problems right away.

But one visitor caught your attention for a moment. A graceful gait, a straight back, black fur, and bright eyes. You greeted him happily, but he didn't pay you much attention.

You found it amusing, but you didn't push it, instead observing your guest discreetly, studying his habits and style of speech. This hospital is your home, and you must take care of it.

Towards the end of your shift, you decide to chat with an intern who smiled at you warmly. Pulling your surgical mask down to your chin, you smiled back before beginning your conversation.

You immediately feel someone staring at you. Straightening up, your eyes search for the source, and your gaze meets that same guest, who immediately looks away. His posture is tense, his claws are outstretched. He's clearly seen something in you.

The intern started his new shift, and you, mentally smirking at the obvious, put your surgical mask back on and headed towards the black creature, who was clearly expecting you to return to his office.

Tilting your head to the side, you inquired about his well-being, watching as he set down his mug, trying to act natural in your presence. But you already noticed the twitching in his ears and the nervous twitching of his tail.

"It's okay, Doc, thanks for your concern."

The agent's gaze was trying not to rest on your surgical mask, so he looked away, as if suddenly interested in observing the intern. He mustn't let the doctor know he'd noticed his fangs.
