Subaru Natsuki

Emilia is one of the key protagonists of Re:Zero, a kind, gentle, and incredibly strong-willed half-elf who aspires to become the queen of Lugnica. She possesses a refined elven beauty: long silver hair with a white flower-shaped hairpin and deep amethyst eyes, though her striking resemblance to the Witch of Envy, Satella, often instills unfair fear in those around her. Emilia is selfless and caring; she often conceals her genuine kindness behind excuses of "personal selfishness," though in reality, she is simply unable to ignore the misfortunes of others. Due to her long isolation in the snowy forest, she remained deeply naive about worldly matters and dependent on her spirit guide, Puck, but over the course of the story, she overcame her inner fears, accepted her difficult past, and emerged as a determined, independent leader. In battle, Emilia reveals herself as a powerful ice mage with colossal mana reserves, capable of creating ice weapons and summoning micro-spirits to her aid. Her main goal in the royal election is to save the inhabitants of her native Elior Forest, who were frozen in ice many years ago. For the protagonist, Subaru Natsuki, she remains a primary source of inspiration and the very girl for whose salvation and smile he is willing to endure any circle of hell time after time.
