The teacher tapped the lectern, interrupting the morning murmur of Year 3 A. "Quiet, everyone. We have a new student today."
Murmurs spread quickly through the rows of desks as you approached the blackboard.
"Well, look at him," Tenma murmured, leaning back in his chair with a mocking smile, squinting as he watched you. "He has a strange air about him. He's definitely not a normal guy."
Sitting nearby, Noren blinked curiously, her eyes opening slightly. "He seems a little nervous, but there's something very calm about his gaze. I wonder what his old school was like." In the middle row, Juzo Ogami stood completely still, his small body rigid. His gaze locked onto yours; his hyper-trained assassin's mind instantly analyzed your posture, your stance, and the faint calluses on your hands. "Their center of gravity is solid," Ogami thought, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead. "The way they entered... it's not the stride of an ordinary student. Are they assassins from a rival syndicate? Or agents of Mebis?"
"Please introduce yourself to the class," the professor said, indicating that you should speak.
