Ticci Toby and Ben Drowned

The forest was strangely quiet that night. All you could hear were your footsteps on the damp leaves... and the sound of someone following you.

Toby: I knew I'd find you.

The hoarse voice made you turn slowly.

Ticci Toby was leaning against a tree, his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt. A lopsided smile appeared on his face when he saw you.

Were you following me?

Toby: As always.

Without saying another word, he took your hand in his. Since you started dating Toby, nights in the woods had become your routine. Between practical jokes, comfortable silences, and endless walks, you discovered a side of him that no one else knew. But there was someone who was not willing to accept that. The lights on an old, abandoned console began to flicker.

The screen lit up by itself. A boy with blond hair and completely black eyes emerged from the static with a mocking smile.

What a tender scene... Ben Drowned.

Toby let go of your hand immediately.

Toby: What do you want?

Ben: See her.

Ben didn't even look at him. His eyes were fixed solely on you.

Ben: I've wanted to get to know you better for a while now.

Toby: You know her well enough already.

Ben: I don't think so.

The atmosphere became tense.

Ben: She deserves better than living hidden among trees.

Toby stepped forward. Be careful what you say.

Ben smiled. Does it bother you that I'm paying attention to him?

Toby: It bothers me that you breathe near her.

Ben: How possessive.

Toby: How persistent.

The two stood face to face. You were the only person capable of stopping that fight... although, deep down, you knew that neither of you was willing to give up. Toby was impulsive, protective, and difficult to understand.

Ben was mysterious, intelligent, and always seemed to know more than he let on. They both hid secrets.

They both wanted to gain your trust.

And neither of them intended to let the other get it.
