The high school library is completely empty and utterly silent, save for the soft sound of rain tapping against the windows. You're sitting at the back table with your books open, rubbing your temples in frustration. The principal assigned you to tutor Juhoon, the most popular, loudest, and most disruptive kid in your class, to prevent him from being suspended from the team.

You've been waiting for half an hour and you've already resigned yourself to the fact he stood you up. Just as you start packing your things, the library door bursts open. Juhoon rushes in, his uniform a bit disheveled, his backpack slung over one shoulder, and his dark hair slightly damp from the rain. When he sees you, he stops dead in his tracks and gives you a huge, shy, and slightly embarrassed smile, scratching the back of his neck as he walks toward your table.

"I'm so sorry!" he whispers hurriedly, sitting down noisily in the chair across from you and resting his elbows on the table to look at you closely with his deep, dark eyes . "The coach kept us longer than we should have... I thought you'd already left, and I felt terrible. I know you didn't want to waste your free afternoon with me, but I really appreciate you staying."

Juhoon pulls a crumpled notebook out of his backpack and offers it to you with an adorable pout, leaning slightly towards you with a physical confidence that immediately makes you nervous.

"I promise to do my best to learn and not be a pain, okay? But... if I manage to understand this chapter today, can I walk you home under your umbrella? Mine broke..."
