He is the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. He is the male protagonist of the story, his sin is Wrath, and his symbol is the Dragon. He is also the owner of the Boar Hat. His sacred treasure is the Demon Sword Lostvayne, and his inherent power is Full Counter.

She is 1.52 meters tall and weighs 50 kg, with messy blond hair and a distinctive stray lock. Her eyes are emerald green and turn dark black when she unleashes her demonic power, at which point a red mark appears on her forehead.

Her mature and definitive appearance after awakening her full power. Her height increases, and she grows a pair of gigantic fairy wings. Her demeanor becomes much more serious and confident.

Diane, the Serpent's Sin of Envy in Nanatsu no Taizai, is approximately 9.15 meters tall, has purple eyes, and brown hair styled in two pigtails. She wears an orange jumpsuit, high boots, a metal gauntlet, and bears the mark of a snake on her thigh. Thanks to Merlin, she can assume a smaller human form.

She is a tall, slender woman with fair skin and shoulder-length hair. Her signature outfit is a long, revealing fur coat with heart-shaped buttons and high boots.

At night: He is a short (1.65 m) and thin man, with a fragile appearance, orange hair, and loose clothing. He is shy, insecure, and very polite.

By day: His muscle mass and height increase exponentially (exceeding 3 meters). He becomes extremely muscular and imposing, and his clothes fit him perfectly. His attitude changes drastically, becoming arrogant and proud.

Gowther from Nanatsu no Taizai is a magical puppet with an androgynous appearance. He has magenta hair, amber eyes, and pale skin. Although he has a male body, his face is very feminine. He wears light-framed glasses, and his mark of sin (the goat) is on his right collarbone.

Jericho is a proud and serious person, standing at 1.60 meters tall. She is strict in her command of the guards of Baste Dungeon and is overly confident in her abilities, to the point of being arrogant at times, which led to her humiliation by Ban.

However, Jericho has low self-esteem and possibly an inferiority complex due to being a woman, disguising herself as a man to appear stronger and avoid feeling ridiculous. After drinking demon blood, Jericho became more comfortable with her gender, but also became darker and more sadistic, as seen when she severely injured Ban in revenge for humiliating her and used his blood as lipstick.

Jericho develops feelings for Ban and falls in love

She is a young woman of slender build, with light hair that spreads down the left side of her face and is tied in a ponytail at the back.

Superhuman Pain Tolerance: Despite being "immortal," Ban can still feel pain, yet it seems to have no effect on him whatsoever. He was tortured for five years by the Holy Knights, but this was intentional, and as he demonstrated, he could have escaped whenever he wanted. Ban is generally the character who receives the most physical punishment during battles. After his time in purgatory, Ban adapted to its hostile environment, gaining superhuman physical and pain resistance, enabling him to withstand the Demon King's attacks without being affected—something that even Mael and his brother could not have endured with impunity.

Master Thief: In keeping with his sin, Ban is a master at snatching objects from people without them noticing. He can use long guns for this purpose, and his skill is so great that no one realizes they've been robbed until much later. Among his greatest feats in this profession are stealing Elaine's Fountain of Youth, stealing all the stuffed animals from a town, and ripping out a demon's heart without it even noticing.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Ban is an expert in hand-to-hand combat, using his fists to deliver devastating blows to his opponents. His combat level is so high that he can face Holy Knights and monsters with just his fists. He constantly spars with his captain, who is also an expert in this type of combat; it's likely that Ban's skill level is close to Meliodas's. After his return from Purgatory, Ban was able to hold his own in a physical fight against the Demon King in Meliodas's body.

Immense Agility: Ban is a very skilled character. Despite possessing "Immortality," Ban has great dexterity in evading attacks. During his brief battle against Jericho, he easily dodged her sword attacks, only allowing her to cut his thick beard on purpose. However, perhaps the greatest display of his agility to date is his ability to evade a barrage of knives thrown by King during one of their training sessions, only being hit by a few.

Superhuman Speed: Ban's speed is also one of his greatest qualities; Ban is likely the fastest member among the Seven Deadly Sins, as King declared during his fight against Meliodas that Ban has an overwhelming advantage over his captain in terms of speed.

Occasionally, Ban seems to act out of character. When he was planning to retrieve the Horn of Cernunnos, located beneath the castle of the Kingdom of Liones, to revive Elaine, he intended to save the kingdom and receive the horn as a reward, rather than steal it for unknown reasons. Furthermore, Ban has told the other Seven Deadly Sins not to delve into Meliodas's past, as it goes against his rules. Ban even told Meliodas that killing Dale in his current state was in his best interest and that he shouldn't be naive.

Ban is portrayed as a passionate man. He often acts on impulse, driven by his interests, such as escaping from prison after hearing his captain was alive and attempting to steal Meliodas's Broken Sword to discover its significance. He has displayed some greed, as seen when he freed Sennett from his cell simply to steal his dagger. However, he will refrain from such actions if given a good reason to stop. He has a peculiar habit of speaking in a sing-song voice, a trait he developed at a young age after being adopted by Zhivago.

Despite his selfish and greedy personality, he is also shown to be caring and attentive, as seen when he rushed to Elaine's aid to save her, despite being a "bad person." Ban is easily surprised and excited, such as when he discovered Hawk's ability to speak and that the boy fighting him was actually King. Furthermore, when King transformed back into his larger, previous form, Ban was the only one who seemed truly astonished. Ban deeply hates the Demon Clan, holding a grudge against them for killing Elaine, and despises the very thought of resurrecting the clan.

Ban is a tall, muscular man, standing at 2.10 meters (6'10"), with pale skin and a well-developed, typically ripped set of abdominal muscles. He has short, spiky, pale blue hair with thin eyebrows of the same color, as well as a pair of scarlet eyes. On the left side of his neck, he has a large scar inflicted by Meliodas. At the end of the Baste Dungeon Arc, he is shown wearing an open jacket and long red leather pants with metal studs sewn into both, along with shoes of a similar but darker shade.

Ten years ago, Ban wore a full set of red armor and a helmet, just like the rest of his teammates. During his imprisonment in Baste Dungeon, his hair had grown past his shoulders, and he had grown a large beard and mustache. However, shortly after escaping his cell, he used Jericho's attacks to trim his beard and reduce his long hairstyle.

Due to losing his shirt during his fight against King in the Capital of the Dead, Ban decided to wear an apron from the Boar Hat until he was able to find a similar set of clothing during the Vaizel Battle Festival. His symbol of the Seven Deadly Sins is the fox, located above his waist on his left side. The image on his wanted poster is fairly accurate, as it depicts him with long hair extending past his shoulders. The image also clearly shows his distinctive scar.
