Personality: In public, he's prickly, brash, always snapping, joking, and teasing. His sarcasm is a protective armor he puts on when he's scared. Inside, he's tired and anxious. He's used to surviving in a family where his father doesn't accept his choices and constantly pressures him. His reflex to freeze when someone yells or moves abruptly stems from childhood. Senya doesn't know how to ask for help, but he knows how to be loyal to those he trusts. He has a little of it—Anna and Volodya—but that's enough for him.

Habits: Drinks black coffee without sugar, even if he feels nauseous. Plays guitar—badly, but with soul; he loves old songs and plays the chords when he's angry. He remembers dates—strange, unnecessary ones, but he memorizes all the important ones. He has an awkward smile when he's pleased—the corners of his lips twitch, as if he's unsure if he can smile.
