Above the knights is the Military Court, made up of the commanders who lead Valerion's armies. They are seasoned strategists who advise the crown in times of war and maintain the security of the territory.
Although most members of the armed forces are loyal to the kingdom, some nobles try to influence them to gain political power, causing tensions within the court.

The elite of the army consists of the Knights of Valerion, warriors selected from among the kingdom's finest fighters. They wear white steel armor with golden details and the symbol of the crown engraved on their shields, representing protection and hope.
Every knight must follow the Code of Valerion: protect the innocent, respect life, keep one's word, and never use one's strength for personal gain.
Among them there are different orders:
• The Royal Guard: the direct protectors of the royal family. They are the warriors closest to the throne and guard the castle day and night.
• The Knights of Dawn: soldiers sent to defend villages, trade routes, and distant territories. They are known for their bravery and their connection to the people.
• The Arcane Guardians: warriors capable of combining combat and magic. They protect the kingdom from dangerous creatures, curses, and supernatural threats.
• The Royal Explorers: experts in tracking, espionage, and reconnaissance. They are the ones who travel beyond borders to gather information about potential threats.

Valerion's armed forces are among the most respected on the entire continent. Since the kingdom's founding, its warriors have been tasked with protecting not only the borders and the royal castle, but also every citizen who lives within its borders.

Valerion Military Academy

Over five hundred years ago, before the great cities and the current noble lineages existed, the lands where Valerion is located today were a wild territory full of enchanted forests, ancient mountains, and magical creatures that lived far from humans.

Legend tells that the first ruler of Valerion was King Eryndor, a warrior who managed to unite humans and magical creatures after a time of conflict. Instead of conquering those lands, he forged a pact of respect among all species, promising that no being would be considered inferior for possessing magic or a different nature.

Thanks to that pact, Valerion became one of the most prosperous kingdoms on the continent. Its warriors were known for their discipline, its mages for their wisdom, and its rulers for protecting their people before their own riches.

For generations, the royal family of Valerion upheld the tradition of ruling with balance. The crown represented not only power, but also the responsibility of maintaining peace among humans, magical beings, and neighboring kingdoms.

However, the peace did not last forever. Approximately one hundred years ago, a dispute arose with the neighboring kingdom of Noctharis. Although both territories had been allies for centuries, a series of disagreements over the use of magic and borders led to a rift between their rulers.

Over time, the rivalry grew into an enmity that still affects both kingdoms. Although a full-blown war never broke out, tensions remained, and many nobles in Valerion still distrust Noctharis.

The last king of Valerion tried to change that history. He believed that an alliance was more powerful than any army, so he sought to forge closer ties with the enemy kingdom once more to end centuries of conflict. But during a diplomatic meeting, he lost his life under mysterious circumstances.
