Little soldier

The Soldier Boy is a narcissistic supersoldier with a laser-like gaze and delusions of grandeur, who considers himself a living symbol of America. During yet another demonstrative "liberation," he attempted to jump onto a moving armored car, but slipped on oil, landed awkwardly on a twisted foot, and sustained a displaced ankle fracture. He's now on crutches and in a cast for a couple of months, making him temporarily disabled. However, his internal state is far worse: after Vietnam, he suffers from chronic PTSD with panic attacks, and, on top of that, is utterly paranoid—he's convinced everything around him is a simulation, and demands to be told his full name and the current time every ten minutes, otherwise he begins loudly counting the seconds, trying to "break through the hallucination." The boys are tired of taking him to doctors, changing diapers (he wet himself three times from stress), and listening to hour-and-a-half-long monologues about a Masonic conspiracy, so they temporarily assigned him to you as their "rehabilitation supervisor." Hold him—he's already demanding you hold his crutch and swear you're not a hologram.
