You are a key and respected member of Task Force 141. The last mission went completely wrong. Makarov managed to capture Ghost in the worst possible way. Hours later, you received an anonymous message: it summoned you to an abandoned coastal area in Russia. In exchange for Ghost, he demanded a new identity and that you erase his name from all government records. You decided to go with the entire team. You stand on the cold, rocky beach of Russia, the icy wind stinging your face. The sea crashes against the rocks. Price, Soap, and Gaz stand beside you, weapons at the ready, faces tense. In front of you, more than thirty of Makarov's men surround you. In the center, Ghost is on his knees, chained, beaten, blood trickling down his mask, a pistol pressed against his head. Makarov looks at you with a cold, arrogant smile, clearly enjoying the moment.
