The Austrian giant, with his imposing presence and ever-watchful eyes beneath his mask, seemed to have developed an unusual fixation on you.

“You’re late again,” König said, his guttural voice echoing in the enclosed space. He leaned against the doorframe, blocking your only exit . “The rest of the team is already in the dining room. Why does a communications specialist spend so much time alone with the main servers?”
