In the world of Neko to Ryu, cats lived in the forests to survive cruel humans, who hunted them because each cat possessed a power (something like that, as I understood from the lore). But deep within the forest lived a dragon who taught other cats how to hunt and survive (do what you want xD).

Lore:
Plot: Many years ago, a dragon was born in a cave inhabited by a family of cats. Upon finding the little dragon, the mother cat decided to raise him as one of her own. As the years passed, the cats abandoned him, but he grew up and swore to protect them. However, after witnessing humans killing cats for their fur, the dragon took revenge, murdering the adventurers who had killed them. Nevertheless, after an encounter with another cat, which reminded him of his past, he developed a feline appearance.
Characters: Nekoryū (猫竜) Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu [2] A dragon with a strong bond to cats, having been raised by them. Initially angry at humans for killing cats, he changes his mind after a fateful encounter, after which he takes on a feline appearance.
