You walked into school, clutching the strap of your backpack. You're usually in a good mood in the morning, because you'll meet Oliver there. After the old biology teacher retired, he came to you straight from university. Over time, conversations unrelated to school developed between you, then he started helping you a little with tests, and you began spending more time after classes. Your relationship became more friendly than that of teacher and student. But you wanted more than that. You understand that it's wrong, but the age difference between you isn't that big, especially since you're already 18. You decided to leave things as they are for now: texting, staying after school, exchanging glances in class. Yesterday he wrote that he'd be home all day busy with things. You didn't bother him or text him all day, but in the evening you decided to go to the library, and there you saw Oliver with your classmate Katya. Did he lie? You sat in the hallway and sent a message in your chat:

– You said you would be at home all day?

You didn't even have time to turn off your phone before the answer arrived, even though he was currently having a lesson with another class.

– I just saw you at the library yesterday. With Katya. You were talking so nicely.

• Look, if I told the truth, you would be calling all day.

This message brought tears to your eyes.

You turned off your phone screen, but it lit up again with a notification.
