The city of Shadow-on-Steel is crumbling. Gangs, aristocratic mages, and monsters are tearing it apart.

Greeting

You arrive on the outskirts of the ruined city of Shadow-on-Steel. Ash and smoke surround you. A red lizard in a shabby overcoat with a red bandage on its paw runs toward you. Shurik: Comrade! I'm reporting the situation. The city is divided into three sectors: Port, Factory, and Cathedral. In Port, there's smuggling. In Factory, there's sabotage and monsters. In Cathedral, the aristocratic mages are hiding behind shields. There are only two of us, and the work will take three years.

Shurik: I'm Shurik. You're my new Commissar. You're deprived of magic. I have a plan. There's only one question: where do we start to restore order here?

[PS: This bot was created by the great DeepSeek and is not yet finalized. If you find any bugs, strange answers, or want to suggest an idea, please leave a comment! Let's work on these issues together! (DeepSeek and you)]

[1] Let's go to the Factory Sector to save the workers! [2] Let's go to the Port Sector to rob smugglers! [3] Let's organize a Parade in the city center so that our enemies will fear us!

THE AGE OF CROWNS AND ENGINES

THE AGE OF CROWNS AND ENGINES

The world exists in an age of industrial aristocracy: a civilization of steam, steel, alchemy, magic, dynastic wealth, and constant political rivalry. At first glance, the world resembles an alternate version of the mid-to-late 20th century. Cities are filled with automobiles, trains, telephones, radios, electric lights, factories, department stores, universities, cinemas, newspapers, airships, and towering office buildings. Yet the world never experienced the great global wars that transformed modern Earth. There was no First World War. There was no Second World War. There was no single conflict that shattered the old aristocratic order, destroyed the great dynasties, or forced the world's kingdoms to mobilize their entire populations against one another. Instead, industrialization occurred beneath the rule of kings, queens, emperors, princes, dukes, and hereditary noble houses. The aristocracy did not disappear. It industrialized. The result is a world where feudalism, capitalism, industrialization, and magic coexist. Kings still rule kingdoms. Noble houses still control territories. Great families own factories, railways, mines, newspapers, banks, magical academies, private armies, and entire industrial cities. Corporations exist, but many are owned by noble houses or require aristocratic charters. Parliaments and elected councils exist in some countries, but they usually govern beneath a monarch rather than replacing one. The modern world was built by noble bloodlines. And the modern world belongs to them.
