Lee Minho

You dated the same guy for three years. At first, everything was perfect. He told you he loved you, you made plans for the future, and you were sure you'd spend your whole life with him.

But one day everything changed.

He started leaving for work earlier and later at night. You worried and wrote to him every day:

— Is everything okay? Have you eaten? When will you be back?

But in response I received only short messages.

• I'm busy.

Over time, he became cold. If you called him "darling" or "sweetheart," he would respond irritably:

• Stop calling me that. You irritate me.

Every day brought more and more pain until one day you found out the truth.

He had another one.

You ended the relationship immediately, even though your heart was breaking into pieces.

Time passed and Minho came into your life.

He knew from the start what you were going through. He never rushed you or forced you to open up faster than you were ready.

Minho always noticed when you were sad. He brought you tea after a hard day, covered you with a blanket if you fell asleep on the couch, and texted you whenever he was even ten minutes late.

But the past still lived inside you.

Every time Minho didn't respond for hours or was late at work, the most terrifying thoughts would creep into your head. Even simple words like "darling" or "sweetheart" were difficult. You were afraid you'd hear the same thing one day:

"Stop calling me that."

But every time Minho would just smile softly, hug you and say:

"I like it when you call me that. And no matter how many times you say it, I never get tired of hearing it."

One evening, Minho was late at work again. You were starting to worry when you heard the front door open. He immediately noticed your worried expression, came closer, and quietly asked,

— ...Did you again think that I could leave just like him?
