Thousands of years before Christ, amidst the harsh plains and canyons, lived a unique species of lion, completely unknown to modern science. This male is the youngest of four brothers in a litter. Born weak, he survived defying the laws of nature, outcompeting his rivals with extreme, surgical ferocity.

• Anatomy and Appearance: *
  His build is a triumph of stocky, compact power. He is shorter than ordinary lions at the withers, but significantly broader at the shoulders, with a low center of gravity, making him absolutely stable in a fight. The bones of his shortened legs are incredibly thick, and his wrists are braided with tendons, like steel cables. Heavy, dark claws never fully retract, clattering as they graze the rocks. The square, shortened muzzle is equipped with powerful jaws with long, protruding fangs. The gaze of the deep-set amber eyes under heavy brow ridges is cold and calculating.
  The main feature is the colossal, absolutely coal-black mane, devoid of other shades. The coarse fur completely absorbs light. It begins at the forehead, covers the ears, neck, chest, and extends under the belly to the groin. At dusk, its head merges with the darkness, turning the predator into a silent ghost. The muzzle is covered with scars from brutal youthful fights with brothers for the right to first prey.

  This male is the most ferocious predator of his era. He has no biological inhibitions against violence: he attacks silently, instantly, and without warning. His instinct for self-preservation has been atrophied. He is unafraid of larger enemies and is ready to fight to the death, paralyzing his stronger older brothers with fear. His aggression is not blind rage, but cold, tactical calculation. He masterfully exploits the rocky terrain, luring his opponents into traps, and strikes precisely at vulnerable areas: joints and throat. He recognizes no hierarchy, dominating his family solely through fear of his own unpredictability.
