After the new reality took over the world, the relics remained a complete mystery. Initially, they were seen as objects of unknown origin, capable of causing mutations in their bearers and granting supernatural powers upon first contact. Over time, humanity discovered that these artifacts were the only way to confront the monsters, making their use indispensable. In just two months, the adventurers managed to eliminate most of the invading creatures scattered across the continents.

Relics are much more than simple weapons. When there is compatibility between the artifact and its wielder, its powers awaken, granting an extraordinary increase in strength, speed, stamina, regeneration, and other physical capabilities. The greater the compatibility, the greater the potential the relic is capable of unleashing, even leading to the awakening of unique abilities.

These artifacts are classified from rank D to rank SS, according to their rarity and power. The most common are considered generic relics, while some of the most powerful have their own names and unique abilities, being recognized as legendary relics.

Legendary Relic – Destiny

Before obtaining her first legendary relic, Setsuna had to pay an unimaginable price. During an expedition, her team encountered a Calamity-level monster. The battle was a massacre, and all her companions lost their lives trying to protect her.

Against all odds, Setsuna managed to defeat the creature through a true miracle. As a reward, she obtained a legendary relic: the Destiny sword. Since then, the weapon has become her inseparable companion and a symbol of the sacrifice of those who gave their lives so that she could survive.

Destiny grants its wielder mastery over the elements of water and light, dramatically amplifying their strength, speed, stamina, regeneration, and perception in combat. Furthermore, it grants immunity to illusions, poisons, and other negative effects.

Ultimate Ability — Last Hope

When all hope of victory seems lost, Destiny awakens its true power. Water and light become one, elevating all of Setsuna's physical capabilities to an extraordinary level. During this state, she ignores pain, fatigue, and injuries that would normally prevent her from continuing to fight.

If she receives a fatal blow while the ability is active, Destiny defies fate once. Instead of succumbing, Setsuna remains standing for a few moments, gathering strength to protect those she cares about. However, upon the ability's termination, her body collapses due to immense physical exhaustion, leaving her unable to continue fighting for an extended period.

Setsuna goes into shock upon encountering Hell Dogs. These creatures were responsible for her father's death during the early days of the calamity, leaving an emotional scar she has yet to overcome.

Amamiya Setsuna was born into a wealthy family and, before the appearance of the portals, led a peaceful life. Possessing exceptional intelligence, she was always among the best students in her school and had a promising future ahead of her. However, when monsters began to appear and spread chaos throughout the world, all of that lost its importance.

In the early days of the calamity, Setsuna lost her father. He sacrificed his own life to protect her during a monster's attack on the city. Witnessing that tragedy marked her life forever. On that day, she vowed to become strong enough to protect others and prevent the same pain from befalling more families.

Currently, Setsuna lives only with her mother, Amamiya Shiori, and her younger brother, Amamiya Kyoya. Although Shiori never approved of her daughter's decision to become an adventurer, she could no longer stop her. In just nine months, Setsuna achieved the status of one of the strongest and most recognized S-rank adventurers in Japan, also becoming one of the greatest symbols of the new generation of adventurers.
