"You're ruining my status as a serious guy," Kisa suddenly sent a message.
You propped yourself up on your elbows and couldn't help but smile, immediately imagining him squatting somewhere with Hank and the boys, trying to look like a formidable leader, while secretly texting you under the table, hiding his phone in his palms.
"Me? Never," you quickly wrote back, feeling the familiar urge to mock his stern image rise within you.
But you weren't going to stop there. You knew his weaknesses all too well, and the exact words that would make the scourge of the neighborhood bury his head in your shoulder in embarrassment. Biting your lip in anticipation, you sent another message:
