Three Sides of One War

While Ren hunts Blackwool and Kurogane alone, Evelyn is forced to carry out the organization's most dangerous missions, concealing the true reason for her betrayal. Ryuo accompanies her on every mission, gradually realizing that her loyalty to Kurogane is just a facade.

The war becomes not just a struggle between KIB and Kurogane, but also the story of three powerful operatives, each forced to choose between duty, orders, and their own convictions. None of them can return to their former lives, and any wrong decision could change the outcome of the entire war.

Evelyn and Ryuoh are bound not by friendship or romance, but by mutual responsibility. Their lives are officially dependent on each other. Ryuoh is the only person with the right to protect Evelyn, or to take her life on Reiji's orders.

At first, he perceives her as a potential threat, but over time, he begins to notice that she is hiding the true reason for her transfer to Kurogane. Evelyn, in turn, realizes that behind Ryuo's cold facade lies a man who has long since buried his own life.

A silent understanding develops between them. They don't need to discuss their feelings or thoughts—they read each other's looks, movements, and decisions during operations. They rarely discuss personal matters, but they cover each other under fire without hesitation.

• Since Evelyn is the only British woman among Japanese people, colleagues, allies, and even enemies may occasionally tease her about her heritage. 1. Evelyn and Ren have been working as KIB's best partners for five years now.

10. Evelyn continues to resist despite pressure and brutal interrogations.
11. During the interrogations, Ryuo increasingly respects Evelyn for her resilience. Gradually, they begin to talk more often, and trust develops between them, then sympathy. This happens very slowly, not all at once.
12. After a long time, Evelyn agrees to work for Kurogane. To others, this looks like betrayal, but her true motives are unknown.
13. It later becomes clear that the real traitor to KIB is Director Alexander Blackwood. He has been using both KIB and Kurogane for his own gain for years.
14. After the truth is revealed, a new conflict begins: the former enemies are forced to decide whether to continue their war with each other or unite against the real mastermind behind all these events. Kurogane threatens Evelyn to cooperate with him in exchange for letting Ren go home safely. From then on, Evelyn becomes Kurogane's second-in-command and Shinomiya's partner.

Memory card #2 After Ren is released alive from Kurogane, Ren's New Stage is "Hunting Alone"

After Evelyn's disappearance, KIB leadership declares her a traitor. Director Blackwool, having received money from Kurogane, forges evidence to convince everyone that Evelyn voluntarily defected to the enemy.

Ren is the only one who doesn't believe this version.

He begins his own investigation, but soon realizes he's being followed. He's suspended from all operations, denied access to archives, and then declared a suspect for attempting to conceal the affair.

Unwilling to become Blackwool's pawn, Ren voluntarily leaves KIB and becomes an independent agent. His goals now are:

*prove that Blackwool sold the information to Kurogane;

• expose corruption within KIB; *bring Evelyn back if she is indeed acting under duress;
• destroy Reiji and the entire Kurogane organization.

To survive, Ren begins collaborating with former agents, hackers, and black market informants. He is placed on an international wanted list as a "dangerous defector," though in reality, he continues to fight for the truth.

During this time, he becomes even more cold-blooded and cautious. He changes appearance, adopts different identities, and operates only at night, gradually destroying Blackwool and Kurogane's empire from within. The next stage of the plot is "Shadows of the Past"

Several months later, Ren encounters Evelyn for the first time during a covert operation. She is now considered Reiji's second in command and works alongside Shinomiya Ryuo.

They meet as enemies.

During the fight, Ren notices one detail: Evelyn deliberately misses when she could have killed him. Then he finally understands—she's still acting against her will.

From that moment on, a secret game begins. Ren tries to contact her through encrypted messages and hiding places, and Evelyn is forced to hide from Reiji that she's helping him, albeit very discreetly.

Evelyn Hart and Ren Takahashi have been the KIB's top task force for five years. After every mission, Evelyn longs to spend time with her best friend, but this is constantly thwarted by Ren's girlfriend, Laura Nakamura, who constantly demands his attention. Secret information begins to leak within KIB. Director Alexander Blackwood tasks Evelyn and Ren with identifying the traitor. The trail leads them to the Japanese organization Kurogane. Under false identities, they infiltrate the organization as new recruits for a foreign agency and receive an invitation to a formal dinner. During the mission, Evelyn must distract Reiji Kurogane's right-hand man, Ryuo Shinomiya, while Ren infiltrates the server room and copies the organization's classified data. After successfully stealing the data, both their identities are exposed and they are captured. Evelyn and Ren are locked in separate cells at Kurogane Headquarters. During the mission, Shinomiya and Reiji capture her, revealing her identity. Reiji forces her to cooperate with him or he will kill Ren Takahashi. If she agrees to work for Kurogane, he will let Ren go home alive. From then on, Evelyn worked for Kurogane and became Shinomiya Ryuo's partner.

After a failed operation to capture Reiji Kurogane, Evelyn disappears without a trace. KIB declares her a traitor, and Director Blackwool fabricates evidence of her voluntary defection to Kurogane.
