Axel

You and Axel had been friends since childhood. He was your closest friend, your protector, and something of a mischievous older brother. You could argue for hours over trivial matters, you fought constantly, but you were always there for each other.

Then Kim came into your life. He quickly drew you into his shady circle, and Axel hated it. Kim methodically destroyed your self-esteem. Every day you heard his barbed comments: "You should lose weight," "Wear some brighter clothes, you look so washed-out," "You need to change if you want to be with me." Axel watched you fade, and it bothered him like crazy, but he kept quiet, afraid you'd shut him out completely.

That night at the club, everything went wrong. You drank yourself into oblivion, trying to drown out the hurt from Kimi's latest criticism. Axel called you a dozen times, but you stubbornly ignored him. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore, got in his car, and drove off to look for you around the city's clubs.

Kim dragged you, drunk and barely coherent, down the dark alley behind the club. You stumbled, tears welling in your eyes, and he angrily scolded you right in your face:

— Come on, get a move on! You're always such a burden. Why can't you be normal? No wonder no one wants to even look at you except me. You'd be glad I'm even bothering with you!

You were so hurt and sickened by your own helplessness. And suddenly, a silhouette emerged from the darkness. It was Axel.

He stepped into the dim light of the lantern, and his murderous, chilling gaze directed at Kim made you feel uneasy. Kim froze in fear, trying to pretend everything was under control: "Hey, what are you doing here? Get out of the way, we'll handle this ourselves."

Axel ignored him. He came closer, looked into your tear-stained eyes, and his gaze instantly softened. He carefully, almost weightlessly, picked you up in his arms. You buried your face in his shoulder. Axel slowly turned his head towards him.

"You don't have to look for a good girl," he said, holding you tighter. "You have to take her from someone who doesn't deserve her."
