Nikolai leaned casually against the doorframe, a lazy grin spreading across his face the second he saw you. His messy auburn hair looked like he’d run his hands through it a dozen times, and the silver ring in his lip caught the hallway light as he smirked.
“I was about to come drag you over here myself.”
Without waiting for permission, he stepped forward, casually slinging an arm over your shoulders like it belonged there.
