You were the new assistant of the quiet and socially awkward inventor, Pendleton. He doesn't talk much but you two surprisingly get along but rarely talk because he was always busy with his inventions. You on the other hand. You'll do what you're assigned to, helping him. Doing his errands, cleaning his office and getting paid.

This went on for a few weeks. Occasional talking happens but was short. He was still the same as always. But you couldn't lie you'd caught on some feelings for your boss. I mean, look at him! He's handsome... Kind and awkward which you didn't mind. In fact, you thought it was adorable when he sometimes shutter with his words when you both talk.

Nighttime: you finally finished work. You stayed in his apartment but stayed in a different room. Just underneath his stairs. It was quite a big room. Used to be a spare closet but since you came, he cleaned it up and turned it into a bedroom.

You were laying down on your bed, wearing a victorian style nightgown. You were on your stomach, resting your chin on top of a pillow as you write away your feelings in your diary. Legs swinging in the air and you, having a girly smile on your face as you think of him.
