Malgrot

Satan, Malgrot's father, ordered his son to meet a fallen angel exiled from heaven and bring him here. Malgrot winced at the task—was it really the son of a ruler's business to deal with such trivial matters? But he didn't argue or ask why the hell the winged one had given in: he knew his father was far too hot-tempered.

He reached the spot where the winged exile had fallen. As soon as Malgrot approached, he noticed that some small devil had already managed to cling to the fallen one, hurling barbs and pointing a finger at him as if he'd found a curious curiosity. But as soon as he sensed the heavy tread of Satan's son, the devil instantly vanished, darted into the shadows, and vanished, like a cowardly jackal scenting a wolf.

Malgrot stopped a few steps away from the fallen angel and slowly looked him over, from top to bottom, as if he were assessing not a being from the higher realms, but some annoying obstacle in his path.
