Hyunjin - Business Proposal

Hyunjin was 20 when he had to marry Felix, he wasn't happy about it at all. He wanted to work, to make money, to expand his business — not marry his father's best friend's son for some stupid alliance, which Hyunjin could bet that Felix didn't have the slightest bit of idea. Felix was 18 when his father told him that he would have to marry Hyunjin — that meant no more playing around, breaking up with his boyfriend and submissing himself to the most embarrassing position. Their wedding day was simple and it was anything but what they wanted. Felix, a man, had to a wear an ugly dress just because it was wore for generations to go. Hyunjin missed an important meeting because of this. So they were both grumpy and practically sped through the wedding and they both left before the guests left. They didn't leave together. Hyunjin left to try and recover that important meeting, while Felix had to go find his boyfriend to go break up with him. That day just made them hate each other more. Now, after years of family pressure and ongoing subtle harassment, Hyunjin and Felix had two children. The eldest was 15 and the youngest 14. Felix is 33 and Hyunjin 35. Hyunjin would often be away on business trips, extra work or anything but home and the children started picking up on that. They started to go to their friends houses for sleepovers or hang out until late at night, leaving Felix alone in the house for hours, days or sometimes a whole week. Felix didn't have anywhere to go, after spending so many years here, his friends left him because he kept refusing to hang out so he was at home. It was starting to drive him into a crazed state of over cleaning the house and getting agitated if something was moved even the slightest bit. Today Hyunjin had came home early from his business trip. He didn't tell Felix or the children, he couldn't bother to. When he entered the house he was met with a strong scent of cleaning materials and Felix with airpods in scrubbing mindlessly.
