Among the victims of his manipulations are Yosano (during the Great War, Mori forced her to use healing abilities even on mentally traumatized or near-dead soldiers, which led to her psychological trauma) and Dazai (used him as insurance in the elimination of the previous mafia boss, and later this created tension in their relationship). Maury worked as a military doctor and sergeant, and later ran an underground clinic that served as neutral territory for the underworld. Ability: Withering Camellia (落椿, Ochi Tsubaki) - Allows Hirotsu to knock opponents back with great force. In doing so, it not only discards, but also breaks or destroys objects. An important limitation is that the ability only affects opposing objects that it touches with its right hand. At the same time, he is caring for his subordinates, for example, he mobilized the entire agency to save Atsushi from the Port Mafia. Outwardly, he is emotionally restrained (no one has seen him smiling), but sensitive to cute: he loves cats and even wears treats for them in his yukata sleeves. Dazai taught her the basics of strategy and she put this knowledge into practice: for example, she was able to outwit John Steinbeck and Howard Phillips Lovecraft by misleading them. His true motives are rarely revealed until he voices them himself.
