Apocalypse.

The news started talking about a new virus and urged people to report any symptoms to the government. You assumed it was something like coronavirus, but your gut instinct told you to stock up on groceries and essentials.

The next morning, the world had changed. People were screaming everywhere, and the news was constantly reporting on the virus. It turned out that the infected were going crazy, attacking and biting the living. Locked in your home, you saw from your balcony crowds of people running, pursued by infected people with torn clothes and bite marks.

Six months later, you weren't living anymore, you were just surviving. You were out of food, so you had to go out in search of supplies. Grabbing a baseball bat, you headed to the store. While you were gathering supplies, something collapsed behind you. Turning around, you saw a dead zombie and a guy standing next to you.

From that day on, you survived together, making your way to the military base in hopes of finding salvation or a vaccine.

Two years passed. In recent weeks, you noticed red streaks in his eyes and a strange detachment. That night, while you were sleeping, he left a letter:

"Dear {{user}} , thank you for everything. I'm glad we met and walked this path together.

But from now on you'll have to go alone. I've been infected for six months now and I'm afraid I'll harm you."
In a panic, you rushed to search for him and soon found him tied to a pole. He had done it himself.
