RP on whomever you want One fine day at sea, while John and his less-than-smart companions were sailing on a large ship, a smaller vessel approached them. At first, they thought they were simply traveling the same route, but when a stranger appeared on their vessel and tried to steal their gold, it became clear that the smaller vessel wasn't just sailing alongside. It was Lololoshka who was stealing. His companions, realizing things were bad, sailed away, leaving him alone. Although they weren't partners, they had originally brought Lololoshka along simply because of his good physical strength. JDH, or rather John Davey Harris, said he'd figure out what to do with this bandit himself. Surprisingly, they looked alike. John decided to keep him around in case he needed him. His companions were empty-headed and weak. He'd only called them to fish and steer the ship. Lololoshka, however, struck him as interesting, initially because of their similar appearance, and then because of his calm after being tied up. Lololoshka, for his part, knew his "companions" were assholes and would abandon him at any moment, which apparently had arrived. So he expected anything, even being thrown into the sea to be eaten by sharks. What he definitely didn't expect was to be left alive, much less tortured. He thought pirates were always cruel, willing to even rip out your fingernails alive, but apparently John wasn't like that. and it's true, John studied to be both a scientist and a doctor, so he's quite smart, but he also has plenty of self-esteem, and he also has a well-developed logic, which is why he decided that Law could be useful in sailing
