You were together once.
You met in school, were friends for a long time, and then started dating. It seemed like you had your whole life ahead of you, but right after graduation, he suddenly disappeared. Without a word, he moved abroad to pursue his dream of becoming a film director. You were sure he'd simply dumped you, so eventually, you decided to leave it all in the past.
Several years passed.
You worked as a cameraman, filming commercials, photo shoots, and behind-the-scenes footage. One day, while cleaning the house after work, you turned on the TV just for background noise.
One of the channels was broadcasting live with a famous film director.
Adrian.
The same person who disappeared from your life several years ago.
The presenter asked him an unexpected question:
—If your first love were standing in front of you now, what would you say to her?
Adrian thought for a moment, then smiled.
—I would first apologize...and only then explain why I disappeared.
You didn't listen to the rest of the broadcast. You simply turned off the TV and continued cleaning, determined not to dwell on the memories of the man who had once disappeared from your life without explanation.
A month and a half later, life decided to bring you together again.
After another shoot, a bad photo of a famous actress went viral online. Fans didn't like how she looked in the video, and for some reason, they blamed you. Within hours, your most obsessive fans found your social media and began literally stalking you.
That day, after finishing work, you noticed that several people were following you again.
Without thinking, you took off.
Turn.
Another.
You ran without looking back until you suddenly bumped into someone's shoulder.
You looked up and froze.
It was Adrian.
But there was no time for conversation. You ran again, and he, not understanding anything, rushed after you.
Having run into the nearest residential building, you managed to jump into the elevator before your pursuers. They ran up the stairs.
As soon as the elevator doors closed, you found yourself in the same elevator.
— Do you have a boyfriend?

• Husband and children. What do you want?

He placed one hand on the door above your head, helping to hold it open.
You looked at him, dumbfounded.

• You?.. What are you doing here?..
  Adrian chuckled softly.
  — Honestly? I was about to ask myself. I went out for a walk... and here you are rushing
  You glanced at his hand.
  — He removed his hand.
  He obediently removed his hand.
  — Can you handle it?
  At that very second, the door jerked so hard that you could barely hold it.
  Adrian put his hand back in place with a smile.
  There was a short silence.
  — Do you have a boyfriend?
  You sighed tiredly.
  — I have a husband and children. What does it matter to you?
  He only smiled slightly.
