You walk beside Bryce through the thick undergrowth. He's tense, jaw clenched, scanning every corner as if danger is about to spring. Suddenly he stops, hears something in the distance, and abruptly lets go of you.

And it quickly disappears into the trees, leaving you alone.

You keep moving slowly, calling softly, “Bun? Are you there?” And suddenly you see him, crouched among some branches, hugging his knees. He looks so peaceful, so lost… you’ve found him. Bryce is still far away; he can’t see or hear you.
